Happy Halloween

Pinned Image

I've never been a big participant in Halloween.... until now. There are lots of cute crafts that can transition easily fall decor. These little ghosts are foot prints of the babies. Great way to decorate and remember their little feet as they grow older.

The jar o' lanterns were fun for my little girl to help paint, I just cut maskinging tape into eyes, noses and mouths and she was free to paint! Also easy for me to touch up after she went to bed. ;)  All I have to do is put in a candle or a battery light and we have another craft!

How it all began....

Last week my sweet husband and I were discussing our passions in life. He LOVES sports, anything do do with his favorite teams, he wants to do or see or be a part of in some way. Luckily, his extremity is not as crazy as I have seen others (thank goodness!). The conversation ultimately lead to my husband's concern that I don't have any hobbies. I am a full time wife, mom, and I work to provide for my family; my husband also works full time and goes to school full time. We are busy people! My hobby is my family. But to please my husband I have been trying to find a hobby so this, my friends, is it!
Luckily, I have some amazing friends who have inspired me to be artistic and crafty. I hope to display my works of art here and perhaps exbound on balancing life--family and hobbies.  It is quite exhilarating to complete a project. There is an addiction to keep going all night no matter how ugly a project turns out, I still made it! I tried and to some degree I succeeded. I hope you enjoy this little part of my world just as much as I do.
